"Jason and Nick,

I just want to say thank you again for doing what you guys do.  You have no idea what those classes did for me.  I went into the class on Saturday thinking that this was kind of pointless for me to go because I'm a wimp and would never be able to defend myself against any attacker because I had tried in the past and failed.  Those two days totally changed my outlook on myself and I owe it all to you guys.  So I just wanted to say thanks.  Keep doing what your doing.  Even if you keep getting classes with just two girls like we had, your equipping those girls with some very important tools.

Thanks Again!

"Jason

I just wanted to thank you, Nick and Pete for the great instruction at the multiple assailant workshop.  I really appreciated the presentation of psychological tactics to go along with the physical strategies.  With the techniques you presented, I feel much more comfortable should a situation turn ugly.  I think people owe it to themselves to take your workshops and raise their awareness."

"Hello, how are you guys?

Its Liz Schroeder if you weren't sure.  I was just wanting to say hello, and to let you know that I will the criminal justice program at NWTC in August.  I was pretty excited to hear that so I thought I would share.  Anyway's I also wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed the workshop this past weekend, and I plan on being a part of the one in July.  Anyway take it easy and have fun.

Liz"

Jason and Nick

Not knowing how to defend yourself is like going on a long vehicle trip without a spare tire.  You may never get a flat tire, but the possibility always exists that you'll suddenly need the spare.

I may never need to use the techniques you both showed me this weekend, but I feel better prepared knowing I can defend myself if I'm suddenly approached by someone who wants to use me as a punching bag.  Best of all, the techniques are easy to learn and based on our natural instincts.  It's good to know that what you taught me as a civilian is also taught to and used by Police Officers.

I also appreciated your review of some of the legal aspects behind self defense, something that I've found lacking in other programs.  In an age when a victim who uses self defense can suddenly find themselves perceived as an aggressor, it helps to learn how to articulate what happened to conform to the law.

Thanks again for the Personal Defense Readiness workshop.  I'm looking forward to your other workshops.

Robert
